Valentine Snack Mix

Need a simple and quick treat to bring to the office, school party or even gift to a few loved ones? We have you covered!
I am not a fan of reading a life story before getting to a recipe, so, let’s get to it!
Ingredients
3 Cups of Berry Cheerios
3 Cups of Rice Chex
3 Cups of Pretzel Sticks
1 Oz of Dried Strawberries
12 Oz of Vanilla Candy Melts
2 Tsp of Coconut Oil
Purple Sanding Sugar

Directions
In a LARGE bowl measure and dump Cheerios, Chex, Pretzels and Strawberries.
In a microwave safe bowl pour the candy melts, melt per the package instructions. Usually “on the defrost setting, warm the candy, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.”
This is where we add 1 tsp of coconut oil to the melted candy, stirring until incorporated, then repeating for the second tsp. This will give the candy an extra smooth and flowing consistency.
Pour half the melted candy over the dry treats, and stir, add the remaining half of candy once the first is well distributed. I suggest stirring with two cooking spoons, one in each hand, to lessen overflow.
Sprinkle with sanding sugar and stir it in, repeat until you are happy!
DONE!
Once cooled we bagged ours in cellophane and it made 10 1-cup servings.
Enjoy!
Sincerely yours,
Heather Poppins
