Elf Help! Our Plan for 2024
This clever little holiday tradition is practically here!
This is our first year having a Scout Elf arrive in our home and as a crafty planner, I am happy to share the plan for 2024 with you, for FREE!
Below you will find the calendar schedule, a list of supplies, groceries, and printable notes!

Schedule contains the Project, Instructions, and Supplies per day. Take photos of your elf and their activities, you’ll need this later!
12/1 – Welcome Elf: Letter to kids, and Breakfast from the North Pole, Elf on The Shelf Box and Book.
12/2 – Minion Bananas: Draw minion faces and outfits on the bananas, place elf nearby with marker.
12/3 – Melted Snowman: Use printed note, a bowl of water with two googly eyes and a baby carrot in it.
12/4 – Hershey Kiss Elf: place out a handful of Hershey Kisses, wrap the elf in tinfoil from the bottom up, with the head sticking out the top, shaped as a Hershey kiss.
12/5 – “Ginger Bread House”: Using printed note and ginger seasoning bottle holding up 3 slices of bread shaped as a house.
12/6 – Bad Joke: Use printed note.
12/7 – Wrapped Dining Table: Wrap the table, leave the Elf with the tape in the middle.
12/8 – 12 Hidden Candy Canes: Use the printed note, hide 12 candy canes, elf is in the tree.
12/9 – Bathroom Mirror Decorated: using window crayons or sticky notes creat a tree, Santa hat, present, candy canes, and or more.
12/10 – Chandelier Hammock: using a mask or garland.
12/11 – Christmas Trees For Sale: use printed note, Little Debbie Christmas Tree snacks.
12/12 – Toilet Paper Igloo / Snowman: using TP stack into a snowman and crayon color attributes.
12/13 – Elf Hot Tub: Use printed note, use canned goods to add filler and seats to hot tub, cover with cotton balls, add elf, place bath bombs/ soap in front, add Barbies for extra sass *make sure crockpot is unplugged.
12/14 – Bedroom Door Decorated: wrap their bedroom door or cover in present bows.
12/15 – Holiday Card Making: use printed note, places construction paper, markers, crayons, holiday stickers, and a premade vocabulary list for common words.
12/16 – Zip Line: string a piece of garland or lights from a curtain rod to the tree, tape elf to a candy cane hung on the garland.
12/17 – “Toasty”: use supplied note, toast a piece of bread and cut to arm holes for the elf, slide the elf arms in and have him sitting on the counter looking all toasty.
12/18 – 7 Days Until Christmas: use printed note, hide elf in the tree with his note.
12/19 – Sprinkle Angel: pour seasonal sprinkles into a lipped baking tray, have elf lay down and create a sprinkle angel.
12/20 – Library Movie and Snacks: use printed note, a borrowed library movie and elf themed snacks or just red green homemade snacks.
12/21 – Rudolph Family Photo: red pom poms are stuck to our noses on a family photo (rolled gift tape).
12/22 – Car Decorated: garland, window gellies, and headbands on head rests, elf hanging from review mirror.
12/23 – Gift From Elf: use printed note, have a wrapped present under the tree ( a photo of the elf throughout the past shenanigans).
12/24 – Night Before Christmas and Letter: using printed note, have Elf sitting under the tree reading Night Before Christmas. Elf goes home with Santa tonight, so be sure to say goodbye!
Supplies
Household items: Tape, Crayons, Sharpie, Googly Eyes, Tin Foil, Bows, Wrapping Paper, Window Crayons, Garland, Toilet Paper Rolls (three), Crock Pot, Cotton Balls, Construction Paper, Holiday Stickers, Movie, Picture Frame, Photo of Elf, Night Before Christmas Book.
Groceries: Bananas, Baby Carrot, Ginger, Bread, Candy Canes, Little Debbie Trees, Holiday Sprinkles, Snacks.
